I'm in on this either day. Pick up would be nice if someone feels like stopping briefly in Burlington, it's on the way and JUST off the highway...

Lens advise please

Kindly suggest 1 or 2 good lenses for my Canon Xsi to shoot Niagara Falls. I have a kit lens which is 18-55mm, I am planning to rent 1 or 2 lenses for this trip. Thanks in advance!

The wider, the better, if you want to capture the grandeur of the falls. Of course what you use is up to you, but I used a 16mm fisheye.

If you are taking the boat ride suggest having waterproof equipment for it.

If there's no room, I can offer a ride share as well :)

I'm in the High Park area, and I can fit 3 others in my car if Simon has no more room for me or for others.

Just as a reminder... if you're a part of the casino players club thing you can park for free at the casino parking lot. And the casinos are basically one on either side of the falls so it's all walking distance.

It doesn't cost anything! Just one person per car will need a card.

I *think* you can even go into the parking lot without one, sign up, then when you leave you won't have to pay.

The casino's parking lot fallsview is actually cheap

Luchini if you're going from High Park I might join you, since I am right down at the lake here

Weird. That I didn't know.
Then again, I did end up at the slot machines for sh*ts & giggles.

I had a wonderful time yesterday at Niagara Falls with Aaron, Chris & Simon. The weather was just perfect, sunny in the day, warm & no wind at night. A beautiful day with great company :-). Will go through my pics and will post some here if there's any good ones :-).

Simon, thanks for organizing this & thanks for the ride!

Not a seagull...

I took a pile of this little guy but sadly missed the focus on most of them. This one is close.
