What: Workflow Discussions
When: Thursday, June 3, 2010
Time: 6:30PM
Where: Front and Spadina, area
Bring: camera, laptop, LR and questions

We have the room booked to use and we figure we can take advantage of space. Since we have it, we are going to have any one that is interested to show up to discuss "Workflows"

We will all meet at 6:30pm at The Globe and Mail, then have everyone just go and shoot stuff for about 20-30 mins. We will then come into the room, and discuss processing workflow and advanced editing.

The hope is to have everyone's input on how to make us all faster, more experienced and perhaps a little smarter in our functions with LR.

I'm kaboshing yours for my own greedy purposes. wah hahaha.

I'm leaning towards joining the Aperture world (save the groans), so I thought it would be handy to have the 2 sessions at once. (see my event suggestion post)

Need a leader still...- if no one from the group emerges, I have several non-TPMG aperture pals who could lead it I think.

I have no idea how many mac/aperture folk are out there....come out come out where ever you are.

Anyhoo, hope you don't mind. It'll be one big party

hey guys, I don't know lightroom... is there anyone else who can facilitate this discussion, in light of J not being able to attend?

Are their any intermediate to advanced people attending?

I'm willing to help out but unfortunately I don't have a laptop with lightroom 2 on it so if anyone can share that would be great (preferably with a mouse and not a mac)

I'd be more than happy to do a lightroom discussion. but I'm totally unprepared for it.

I think rescheduling the day would be a better option.

With all this rain today, I don't think its gonna be fun dragging my mac and Nikon around. I will have to cancel my attendance today.

I know in theory this was supposed to be an intermediate session / discussion of workflow, so perhaps we didn't need a facilitator.

But I'm not a lightroom user (simply a provider of board room space) so if structure was required for the meeting, I wouldn't be able to provide it.

We will definitely reschedule. stay tuned....
