Cool. Aside from learning how to activate the video functions I've yet to shoot any video on it.

looks like 60fps at 1280 too... I've been using this to take pictures of birds in flight and other really fast items where you can never get the timing right by taking single pics, so just take a video and extract the single frames :-)

I've read the rumors on the cinema5D forum on this this past wknd but haven't seen that screen shot/presentation pic. That would be cool. You could get a nice smooth 40% slowmo at 60fps but I guess you can only shoot that at 720p mode. :D

I've only recently started tinkering with video again. Takes a bit if practice and dry runs to get the look you want. Definitely not your everyday handycam.

1280 is 720p.

Thought I saw a clip where they said target release is 1st quarter for next year.

I think Canon stated it would be released in 2010 first Q.
