Some are famous; some less so. And for some of them there is no clear "right" or "wrong" -- like removing the pole above the girl's head in the Kent State photo, which ran in Life magazine, for example.

Interesting article. Personally I dont mind the post removal. But adding smoke or adding in Lincoln's head...thats not too kosher. It's amazing what they could do back then though, especially the horse photo
