My favourite one to visit is Acadia because it's like walking into an old library...LOTS of art books; they used to have a second location, but not anymore.

And Balfour has been featured in a few TV commercials, one is for a chocolate bar where the person is lying on piles of books.

BTW, don't take any books I'd want!

Most on the list do not...due to the turnover of magazines stores get credit for unsold magazines; they cut off the covers and send that back to the publisher, while the rest of the magazine ends up in the landfill.

However Orion has a FEW (60-90) esoteric photography magazines, I picked up an interesting one from France once.

If you want a back issue of a particular magazine the best thing to do is go to that magazine's website and see if you can order it from them.

I just remembered another one, it's just south of Honest Ed's (on Bathurst south of Bloor), but I'm not sure of the name of it, I think it's called:

Willow Books (small selection)
758 Bathurst St Toronto, ON M6G (416) 534-2665‎

Just a note, chapters online has actually fantastic selection of used, inexpensive books, trick is you actually have to buy it, not read and put it back on the shelf

At least buying it online theoretically increases the chances someone disease-ridden person hasn't perused it while in the washroom.....
