Do you have any idea of what route we'll be taking? Just walking down Roncesvalles? I'm thinking of driving rather than taking the TTC and am just wondering the best place to park the car.

Man, wish I could go. My CV 28/1.9 on my Bessa would be perfect for this.

Yeah probably just walking down Roncesvalles, then back up. Maybe if we have time or if ppl want to, we can walk through The Junction as well.. though I've never been to that area before.

As always, we will wait for 15 minutes before heading out.

If you need to, PM me to get my cell number. This becomes useful if we split up during the event or if you get lost.

Darn, something came up and 4pm is a bit too late for me. I'll see you guys next week for the 50mm shoot though.

Thanks to everyone who came out today.. which was everyone who registered! We were also joined by three dogs on our walk which made it even more fun. Hope to see you all at my 50mm photowalk.

Hey Eric:

Thanks for setting up this walk. Shooting with the 35 only was very challenging and really required some effort and thought. Great choice of neighborhood as well.

It was a good time. Looking forward to the nifty fifty walk next Sunday.

And to Bosco - WOOF!

Daryl

Had fun, thanks for organizing this Eric - sorry I missed out on the eats! Here are a few of the shots I took:

I love the old homes on the street. A lot are in disrepair but this one looks pretty good still.

P.S. Don't forget if you got any half decent shots of the dogs, please pass them on. Thanks.

Using a 35mm prime (on a FF) to do street shooting is amazingly hard, especially my main interest is people on the street. It was an excellent experience though! They were all shot with 5D + 35L.

Here's my share: http://www.flickr.com/photos/christogra ... 755160812/

Slideshow: http://www.flickr.com/photos/christogra ... 0812/show/

Elaine: You can find a few shots of your doggies in my album. I apologize as they are not the best shots!

A few pics:

Eric: Very cool shots!! My fav is of the salt n' pepper shakers.

Chris: OMG, amazing set!! You've captured a TON of people candids. You, my friend, are a natural at this. I'm shadowing you next Sunday, lol.

Take all the photos you want of Bosco (the dog). But the modelling fee for Bosco is $45 per posted image. 60 days net. Send via my paypal account. :D

Had a good time at the shoot. I got to meet some new tpmg'ers and I learned a great deal. Also got some exercise and Bosco had a good time. Will post photos shortly.

Thanks to Eric for organizing and waiting for patiently for us to catch up.

Chris, while I may be biased, I rather enjoyed your pictures of the dogs.

Thanks.

Wow! The photos here are real interesting. I was in the exact same place with these guys and I never really saw what they saw with their cameras. It makes it interesting and easier to compare everyone's "vision" and "creative eyesight" when they are all using very similar equipment.

I over-processed them on purpose (using Aperture) but I tend to do that with photos that I poorly exposed or composed to begin with.

My photos are on my blog here: LINK.
