Details:

What: Queen West P&S Walk
When: Wednesday July 8th 2009
Time: 6:30pm
Where: Starbucks @ Queen & Dovercourt
Bring: Point & Shoot camera (digital or film), batteries, memory card or film.

Say what? A P&S walk is just crazy talk... but no its not! Lots of TPMG members do not have fancy camera's, and sometimes I feel like they might be left out... so its time to get out those P&S camera's.. and take a walk along Queen West (heading east), and take some funky pictures of street life. We'll start off at Dovercourt meeting up at the Starbucks coffee shop, and head east until our feet get tired, probably ending up at the Eaton Centre for grub.

If the weather is going to be horrible ... remember to bring an umbrella! We'll shoot in the rain.

cool stuff! I have a Ricoh Rangfinder - which I guess could classify as a point and shoot. But I'll be using my nifty Nikon P6000

uhm.... I think it would classify - although it does have an interchangeable lens, which in a way disqualifies it, but I'd accept it.

If the light's good, I'll show with my Coronet 12-Twenty box camera. It's the only thing vaguely resembling a P&S I own. But it needs decent light with only f16 and f22 as options.

I think at this point it doesn't matter what you bring anymore -- as there are only 3 of us. I'll probably be toting my F100, as I need to finish off a roll of E6 to get developed.

Did you order the large Jolly Good Fun Platter? It's to die for.

Thanks James, Alice, Pam, and James friend who's name eludes me at the moment! -- for coming out. I had a great time, and got some good shots. I'll try and post some soon.
