Both the owl and the eagle are looking at the hamster while the hamster is trying to hide under the newspaper from their preying eyes.

Nice pictures all around, congrats to the winner!

Thanks everyone. I forgot I'm supposed to pick the next challenge....

How about a photo that incorporates something blue and is in a diptych?

I'm open to suggestions if someone has something more interesting.

oh, sorry! A diptych is just 2 photos (or other pieces of art) placed side by side. The idea is that you think the two relate somehow to tell a visual story or they might just look better together than apart.
Here are a few examples of mine:
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/slk/1538051544/" title="yellow squared by -stacey-, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2249/1538051544_1782a1136c_m.jpg" width="240" height="149" alt="yellow squared"></a>

One method is to create a blank canvas....in photoshop...with whatever background you wish at whatever size (say 500x500 for example)

Then open each image you want in a separate photoshop window, process it, crop it, then copy the entire image using the selection tool and paste it into the canvas image.

This is the easiest (and roughest) way to collage pictures. After copying it, since each paste becomes a layer, you can manipulate it to your liking.

my grammar is terrible!

"a diptych containing something blue" is more precise. No rules about how much blue as long as there is some blue in there somewhere.

Actually, I'm not sure if that is much better!
