Please note that some photos were not included as they did not meet the requirements - specifically the required theme (vanishing point needed to be pretty obvious) and that the photo be taken on or between 10/27-11/09. Note that Metrix's photo is included though it was added afterwards as this was not a requirement in the rules for the contest. .

For the next challenge, images *must* be posted no later otherwise they will not be included in the voting. Secondly, if the date of when the photo was taken is not included in your submission, it will not be included in the voting (sorry I'm not going to spend more time verifying that the photo is indeed taken during the required time period). Please familiarize yourself with the contest rules here.

Just a thought for next time.. maybe provide a link to the rules. I for one missed the sticky, and i'm sure others did too.

I think the first picture (by sue) is the most atmospheric and the best composed one. Although it needs a bit of post processing.

Sushant's picture is decent but the painting itself is not in focus and secondly the photo feels staged. The crop is also a little awkward.

Matirx's picture is creatively composed but lacks any mystery or mood.


Anyway, don't mind my straightforward opinion but one of the best ways to improve in photography is to be critical of ones work and others as well.

I didn't know we were in the Critique section either! And btw, mine IS post processed to the best of my ability, considering how foggy and grey the day was.
