Nothing really new but The Star has raised the issue again, in light of the recent shooting on a streetcar.

And a follow up story.
I've had to deal with the cops on a number of occasions. In one incident the cop was trying to bait me into doing something illegal. I have almost zero respect for the authority based on my dealings with them around the city.

I've never had an issue with the police and photography -- only police asking me what kind of camera I had - and then they would tell me what they were using - because they also had an appreciation for photography. Its usually the general public that are not so receptive to my street shooting - and dumb ass security in downtown Toronto.

Same, never had an issue with cops. Most probably because I treat their job same as any other.
