Has anyone asked you if it's a Hasselblad?

If so it'd be almost as good as having your Fuji mistaken for a Leica. :P

ah, that reminds me... back in my non-taping days a guy stops me in the street, points to the three-inch nikon logo on the purdy chrome F2 dangling on my belly and says, "is this a fuji?"

whatever

Nah, more like my Mamiya for Hassy (it's written in huge print on the front)

Not that I'm convinced there is a lot to this nonsense, but here is an embarrassingly close to home article on shop therapy and G.A.S.

I have had "GAS" for years. Latest attempt at relief ended with a D700.

I have a X100 (Black) and a x100s. More then once I have been asked "is that a Leica".

Great article for the non-pro's, but since everyone's a pro these days, it's for those who might find it useful

I think we all may be acquirerers to some degree. I like the idea of buying older, used gear and producing images I'm happy with. I'm glad I bought an old 5D and hung onto it, even though I already had a 5D II and a 7D. I've had people say my images look better due to the gear I have compared to what they shoot. But when I say I used a camera that costs less than their Rebel, and I'm using a cheap lens it takes that argument away from them. However, I do agree that some lenses make a world of difference.

The 5D 1 is an amazing camera I owned it for 3 years.

I don't own shares either with Nikon or Canon... Just pick up the camera at that time which suits me.

I do, you'll buy a new 'super full frame' that nikon comes out with, then get disappointed again and buy the new 'mega full frame' that canon drops to fight nikon

No, everyone is selling their DSLRs for Fuji. That's the way of the future.
