Can anybody tell me where would be a good place to take in my Nikon D80 for a repair ? I have a flashing Error sign on it and it doesn't let me do any pics, also the shutter sounds very weird. I looked up online it it doesn't look like I can do anything to it, I have to get somebody to fix it.

Anybody a good place, please recommend one to me I just don't want to let my baby in a bad place :(((
Thanks a lot.

I did a little research online and I found a lot of people stating they were not too happy about them, like it takes too long for them to repair cameras and not the best service, that's why i want to find a shop that is not to big and famous but somebody who knows how to do their job.

I was recently talking to David at Gentec about this subject and he recommended three different people that he has worked with before in various capacities that all used to be "Authorized Service Providers" for Canon that are very good. Yes, I know you said Nikon but it won't hurt to call and ask if they take care of Nikon as well. David and I only talked about Canon...

Anyway, if you want to give them a try:

The owner is Tony Patzalek. This was recommended highest by David but is in Burlington.

If your camera is underwarranty, send it to Nikon. If you can't get out to Nikon in Mississauga, drop it off to a Henry's with your purchase invoice and warranty card (doesn't need to have been originally purchased from Henry's) and it will be sent free of charge to Nikon! Aden Camera charges $15 for this service and Vistek $35!

Hi guys , thanks for all your help. I took the camera in for repair last week to Sun Camera and they said it's the aperture jaming and needs to be replaced, should be done soon for 200 $ + tax. :( ...but I'm happy they can fix it. I just want it back now.
Have a great weekend everyone.
