Hello there!
I'm looking to grab a book on photography or so, notably one that concentrates on composition and perhaps another one that concentrates on exposure.
Recommendations on which book to look at our welcomed! There are so many books out there, which makes it a bit overwhelming to pick :?

For exposure this book is great - I have the older edition.

For composition this book is really good.

That Bryan Peterson is a bit of a mainstay in a photographer's library.

http://craftandvision.com/ publishes eBooks on a variety of photography topics but they all frequently focus on composition in some way that is valuable. Craft and Vision: 11 Ways to Free Your Photography is free and a good introduction to the books available.

The other advice I would give is pick up a book on painting or one on art appreciation that focuses on painting. Many great photographers painted/studied painting/still paint/ and so on. The two arts share considerably amongst each other.

Thanks for the recommendations guys! I just picked up Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson and will most likely get books on composition in the near future.
