Hello all,

just a quick FYI: On Saturday and Sunday September 8th and 9th 2012, Black Creek Pioneer Village will be hosting a special event open to photographers. I will be doing mini-seminar's during both day's. Hopefully I will see some of you there!

Here is a description:

Calling all photographers! Grab your camera and tripod and step back in time. Learn about capturing that perfect photo or discover photography as it was in the 1800s...

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go on the Saturday. Havent been to pioneer village in ages. Really want to try out my new lens too.

Nothing you'll find too exciting (as its not a Nikon) - I just got the 18mm prime lens for my fuji X-Pro1 - which I want to try out this weekend!

Is there a cost to the photo lessons that are happening or is that included in the admissions price of $15?

no additional cost --- and its not really lessons .... more like mini-seminars on shooting Pioneer subjects.

Yes and No .... the thought it that it will be incorporated into a bigger event - as the attendance for this specific event SUCKED!
