For events like that, you'll need to be sponsored by a media outlet ie magazine, advertising, newspaper etc. on your behalf. If you are a well renown blogger you might get squeezed in.

Good suggestion, he got me a hookup for the last few minutes of a Raptors practice (most of it is closed to media) once.

The Circus Tour or the Femme Fatale Tour? I heard Femme Fatale tour was a good one to shoot in Toronto because of the Black Eyed Peas surprise cameo.

Both Good.
But the highlights so far: the release of her freshly bald head.
I still can't believe I snagged access to that event.
