So my buddy is the publisher and a food critic for Spotlight Toronto: http://www.spotlighttoronto.com/

I know most of you guys love food and some are even into taking great images of it. I just spoke to Suresh and asked him if he was willing to take myself and a few others in one of his events to take photos of the event/food/wine, etc. High level, strictly of course his terms, no monetary compensation but the experience is nice. He's open to the idea and has asked me to email him of what I have in mind. In turn, I figured I'd ask you guys as I'd like to share the experience with you.

Who is interested in this sort of ad-hoc and what would you like to accomplish? :)

Let me know so Suresh can plan out the details in his next event...trust me, he's got a lot of them coming up. Right now, he's in the middle of his Food Truck Eats events around the GTA.

I always have food...err...wait...no. Food always has me....whatever.

Yeah, let me know what you guys want out of it. His events vary from street food, to critiquing restaurant dishes, to wine sampling.

Just at a high level, I'm thinking the details would obviously food shots with some shots of the event itself like wine toasting or taking images of the Spotlight Toronto crew and the main host and maybe even taking detail shots of the restaurant/wine cellar, etc.

I suppose I should create a registration thread for this. :P Let me talk to Suresh first and ask him how many people he can accommodate for this ad-hoc. I'm guessing it'll probably be less than 10.

@Rhommel: Heheh...funny you say that. I remember what Floro said last night. He only came for the pizza. LOL!!! Can't guarantee there will be free meals. Maybe samples? :)

So far 5 people interested. When I do the registration, I'll make sure you guys are first. :)

I am going to be out of the country for the next two weeks, and out of internet access for the next 30 hours or so.

I'm going to try and see if I can secure at least 3 dated events and post them up. :) I know some of us can't go during weekdays and some can't do weekends. I'll try to get varying dates and times.
