Hello to all,

We have added another organizer to the team. I would like to welcome Chris (Hotwire) to the organizer team. I am sure most of you know him well, and he will be a good addition to the organizer pool. I know he has lots of idea's coming up for shooting events.

We are also sad to see Sue (Sue70) leave the organizer pool, and want to thank her very much for all she has done over the past number of years with the group.

Very sad to see Sue step down .. thank you very much for all the events you put on. You were the first friendly face I met in person at TPMG and I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that I all appreciate your amazing contributions over the years!

Congrats Chris!

As mentioned before I'm also very grateful to Sue; her contributions to the forum are invaluable as her friendly manner and respectful approach made the TPMG an enjoyable venue. :P

Thanks for the warm welcomes, and seeing as I've got a few ad-hocs under my belt already, I doubt the learning curve will be too steep.

The Holland Marsh drive event has been moved to Official Event status. Date is still dependent on factors out of our control, but I'm leaning towards a May date.

My understanding is that while Sue is stepping down as an organizer, she is not leaving tpmg. Hopefully she'll still organize some ad hoc events.

Thanks for all the kind words. It's true that I'm stepping down, as I just don't have the time and energy to spend here that I used to. But I will still be around, especially if I can make it to the socials!
