The double bounce setup seemed like a bit of overkill to me. I would prefer to shoot babies without any flash at all. It seems to work and the baby doesn't appear to be affected.
My twin boys didn't like the flash at all, at no setting. So I didn't take many photos of them (with flash) when they were very young. Now, they love the camera and flash. Maybe a little too much, actually.
