I just ran out of most of my chemicals and me tank has a crack I just found out , would like some where besides Henry's and in the City centre preferably that people here would recommend for film supplies? I would prefer a place that has variety, well stocked and if they have good prices that would be nice but not a necessity. If I can I would like to get it today. Going out sometime around 1pm so if you see this and know a place please let me know and thanks in advance and I know it is not lot of time but if you can help great and if not thanks for reading.

Thanks but I should have clarified I would prefer a more film centric store something that has a better collection of chemicals, films, etc than these stores more dedicated to the Digital market. I Find all these other stores have a fairly limited supply. Just thought I would see if such an animal existed.

Good luck! No one stocks much these days as it stays on the shelf too long! The first 3 on the list are places that actively support DIY film.

Ya, i've pretty much given up on local for film and darkroom supplies. Currently i order pretty much all my film and supplies from www.freestylephoto.biz , i think they are in Cali. I get my C-41 chem kits from them aswell. For anything that can't be shipped over the boarder(like Rodinal) i order through Henrys website. Not the store Henrys, but their website, i find they are way better stocked for darkroom then their retail outlets.

I'll probably start to order some of my supplies from B&H now that they have revised their shipping to Canada.

The Henry's downtown has in fact been expanding their darkroom supply selection over the last 6 months or so. It's a lot better than it used to be. Downtown also has solid stocks of what it does carry but doesn't carry anything out of the basics.

Specialty film materials are something you pretty much have to order online. There's at least one Canadian one, although I don't have their URL handy as Henry's and Downtown cover my needs since I pretty much stick to Rodinal, D-76 and TMax dev.

Henry's told me their turn around on film chemicals and such is real slow so they don't restock very often, I can't really see that they have any more then Downtown Camera. I rather support downtown because more of their people are interested in film.

Lomo cameras are available at many non-photography stores like Urban Outfitters, the creative store at Harbourfront, etc...they usually only have film for the cameras they sell.

You won't find any developer or any other darkroom supplies there. They do sell some random, mostly expired film and some funky stuff like redscale rolls (Rollei Redbird).

Their Lomo 120 B&W film is inexpensive $3.35 this is cheaper then you can find it online. It is fresh repackaged Shanghai GP3. Not much other then that, they do have an interesting film holder for scanning.
