just google it. You'll find lots of schematics and instructions on high speed photography.

Don't know what "programming" jackctk is talking about...all you have to do is adjust the pot to adjust how much delay after the sound event happens to fire the flash.

Personally I have a commercial unit, a Wein SST (Super Sound Trigger) that actually doesn't need a power supply, but unfortunately it's no longer available.
