I need to stress test my Nikon 70-300 VR. I am thinking of going to a local high school and shooting their football game. Does anyone have any info or input on permits/permission needed?

I would say, be careful where you point your lens since there will be a lot of 'kids' there and people can get weirded out.

Thanks for the replies.

I have been shooting various outdoor high school sports around town for the past week. So far, no problems. In fact, now that I have seen the way the games are set up, I don't anticipate any problems.

The biggest problem so far? Those kids' foul mouth. And what passes as school attire nowadays. Terrible. :(
