This is a fake / wedding entertainment (very questionable fun).
Which was kind of suspected anyway.

I did some search and found a statement from the crew who did this.
Apparently, they have been working as wedding operators for a while and acquired number of the photo/video equipment which is no longer a cutting edge technology,
but did not want to throw it away. So they came up with the idea of the "fight at the wedding", only one of the pairs knew what will happen,
their guests and the other wedding pair and their gusts had no clue.

The only thing I can add from myself is that they are morons and that equipment could have been given to a local school or orphanage.

OK, yes and no -- I think its more useful for companies to donate current technology, then give away equipment which is no longer supported by the mass market. I had an experience with this, where we received a donation of some computers for video editing, and they were so old and slow - it was a pointless donation.

There's a reason for this, so those organizations on the receiving end don't become a 'dumping ground' for other people's stuff. If it's too old, then drop it off with a recycling depot.

i remember when the saying "Beggars Can't Be Choosers" was true. nowadays, there's a minimum requirement before you can actually donate. LOL!!! There's this thing at work every year where they donate to a family in need, and these families actually HAVE LISTS of what they want. if your stuff is not on the list, then you cant donate..

sorry for being off topic.

we do this at work too and last year i looked at the list and was like dayum these kids are asking for stuff like ps3's, xbox's ipods and stuff. where can i sign up for these things?

Certainly puts the kibosh that any publicity is good publicity. I would like to see their before and after wedding bookings.

Apparently, some people at the wedding and after were inquiring "how often fights are being ordered in the package".
Film crew was joking about adding this "service" to their price list.

I don't think their bookings suffered or increased greatly, looks like they were in business for many years, so the business is stable.

Would not be in that case.
I am talking about schools, where they often don't have computer classes, never mind audio-video or photo clubs.

Being fairly young, I still remember old technology - non-IBM computers and mainframes occupying two floors of the building,
huge Betacam camcorders and making colour prints at night on "kitchen laboratory".
My first camera was LOMO SMENA 8m.
At that point, anything was better then nothing.

Besides, even very old technology can do wonders in right hands, but you would certainly know this.
Yes, often not so fast, high quality and "flashy", however still useful. Especially, if you have no alternatives.
