Thanks, very interesting. I will definitely read.

If I read the site correctly I think it's American. There are several significant legal differences with Canadian copyright. I'm a librarian so it comes up a lot.

Pam is correct -- Canadian copyright law is different from the American version.

What do you do when you get sued by the guys who used your images? http://www.aphotoeditor.com/2010/04/27/ ... -sues-him/. I found this posted at FM but couldn't find the original link.

I hope the underdog gets something for AFP's faux pas.

The author is absolutely right about contacting web hosts and publishers. Ultimately, when my pictures were being taken and altered by someone for his website, it was submitting a C&D to the host that had the site pulled down.
