Just read this article about fashion designer utilizing 3D technology.

http://www.blogto.com/fashion_style/2010/03/nada_in_3-d_fashion_on_the_big_screen/

If the printing technology gets so advance (so you wouldn't need to wear those dumb glasses to see the 3D effect), would you be interested to get your hands on 3D photography? Or do you think that 3D is a stupid idea...

I am already near sight. 3D photography only exacerbate my vision.

I've done 3D photography myself...also played around with lenticular printing (3D print without the need for glasses, although touching the surface of those makes my skin crawl).

If you want to make your own red-blue/green 3D images here's a link to a FREE program (they say it gets downloaded 3000 times a month):

Thanks everyone for the comment, I know 3D exist long time ago.

I don't mean the cheesy ones where the surface is bumpy, nor red/blue images overlapping, I mean something like this

We just started to have display units (TV, Monitor) online to the market and source data for movie is coming out; so it's only a matter of time before the home movie/wedding video becomes 3D. I think I just saw a Panasonic 3D professional camcorder last week.
Photo should be next, but the capture technology might be a little tricky. I am not looking forward to carry 2 70-200 F2.8 all day.:-)
