Cool utility to extract embedded full-resolution jpeg image from raw file. Very useful if you don't want to shoot raw + jpeg. Tried it and me likes.

Yawn, can we get back on topic (remember, Santa's watching so you should be good kiddies)...what makes the program useful? Usually the JPEG embedded in the RAW is a lower resolution (1600x1200 for 4:3 cameras).

The usefullness it twofold,

First you dont have to waist card space on Jpegs if you dont need them, thus more space on the card... most of the times not a big deal, but at sertain moments a huge help.

Second is when you need a jpeg say for online or to give someone, makes it quick and easy. a rally fast way to get a preview of what you have.
