Has anyone ever gone out to one of these? Are they a sight to behold or just a bunch of specs zipping through the sky? Also, are there any good places from Toronto to Niagara that have good observation points?

I've never shot them but I've seen it. Pretty cool. The one I witnessed wasn't what I was expecting. I hear meteor shower and I think it's gonna look like a hundreds of meteors streaking across the sky at any given time. It was more like... "Oh, there goes one" wait, wait, wait, "Oh there goes another!" Maybe I needed to go further north of the city away from the lights to see more? Hummm, we could use another Ontario blackout on Nov 17th! My neck got stiff after 30min looking into the sky. lol

seen a couple like this some time ago at summer house in the middle of nowhere in Latvia. Very cool during the summer nights, not so much in winter like weather, i would assume. Not worth the camera load. Just enjoy it

A few of us have done the Perseids in August... I'm too wimpy to stand out in the cold on a winter morning for this one... :(
