Hi guys I need a bit of help again.
So my last post was about landing a job with a construction company.
Now I do photography for all their buildings before and final product shots.

My question is about rights/license.
Can anyone be kind enough to show me what a sample contract would look like? I would like to allow them to use my pictures for promotion purposes but I would like to keep to rights to self promote and usage of these images.

Any additional information I should be aware of please let me know.
I'm new to all this and would like to learn from some more experienced.

Thank you in advance.

Tony

Lots of good info for you to go through here:

I think there is even a link to help you put together your own contract.

It is most prudent to hire a lawyer to draft up a contract that accurately articulates the arrangement between you and the company, so that both parties' interests are protected.

That is nonsense... I'm willing to bet that your equipment costs considerably more than the cost of hiring a lawyer to draft a license agreement for you.

For about the same amount of money and time you can go to Chapters and buy some books on photography contracts and put one together for yourself. Or you can meet with a lawyer and have one drafted up.

Either way, you are protecting yourself and you can write it off as a business expense.
