My friends and I are thinking of taking pics of our cars, and I know some of you have done car shoots before. Where's a good location (other than an empty parking lot)?

TIA.

there are 2 nice aboveground parking garages in markham that are quite empty after 5pm or so. it's a good spot for sunset shots.

here are 2 shoots that i did there.

Every car guy with a camera has taken a picture there (I'm guilty of it as it was a location I found on my own only to find out that every other person has shot there as well). I would skip it if you want something unique.

What kind of car? Different locations will give a different feel to the picture. You'll have to match the car to the location depending on the concept you're looking for.

I think lots of locations can work as long as the background is clean or complementing the car

Amazing shots!

OK, gotta ask, how the heck did you get the car to focus so well with the motion blur? Are you panning that well, or is there a lot of PP?
