Gang, I'm trying to decide between the Epson V700 and V750. What's making me drag my feet is the option of wet mount scanning. Having never used it, I simply rely on what I've seen people online say about it. But online, people are only talking about large format.

I'll be mostly scanning 35mm and 120mm film. Rarely will I be scanning larger, but I want a flatbed for that option when it arises. Am I really going to see a big difference between high quality dry mount on the V700 and wet mount on the V750?

What are your thoughts?

Thanks.

I have the v700 and according to the guy that I bought it from, they are aost identical. That being said, I have done some recent 35mm scanning, and was somewhat pleased with the result. It's not a neg scanner, but I knew that going in. I got it mostly for the purpose of scanning 4x5 which of does a superb job on.
