EDIT #2: This gonna be made an official event? I have a model that could come but I'm not sure if this is going to happen for sure or not so I don't wanna have to cancel on her.

Location: As far as location, I will be securing that this weekend, since I'll be up in TO to get away from the USA's labor day madness and stupidity. I'm aiming at an outdoor location(s) to start, simply because it'll be a fun way for everyone to get together without dishing out too much cash to rent a studio, give people more room to get creative, and also because there are so many options outdoors to take advantage of. In my networking travels this weekend I will be looking at studio spaces as well for upcoming events should people wish to partake in those as well. I figure a meet-up time between 12pm and 1pm would be fair on a Sunday, it'll make for a good amount of time to work with available light.

Official event: After I confirm the details this weekend, how do I make this an official event? Do I need permission from an admin to post an event or is it okay to just go ahead and make it happen?

Alright, well until I get this event-tool figured out, here are the details:

SUNDAY SEPT 17; 1pm - ?; Outdoor street fashion photos
- Initial meetup place: The gazebo in St James Park (corner of Adelaide and Jarvis)
- Theme: Urban Street Fashion; outrageous street clothing
- TFP; I'll have copies of model releases for those who need them

Between another Buffalo photographer and myself we have 4 models (one will be a half hour or so late but is still coming) so far that will be joining us along with one makeup artist. I also have a line of makeup for those who want to dig into it and play with that. Although I can't guarantee that any more models will be showing up from our efforts here in BFLO, in order to make sure that are somewhat even numbers of photographers and models it's encouraged that you still bring your own model to the event, as most of the shoots I've been on seem to fall into the category of more cameras than subjects. Teaming up shouldn't be a problem, though, expecially for those still are looking to get familiar with fashion photo aspects. I'm still learning, myself. I don't think I'll ever know it all, but that's the fun of it!

So let me know who's planning on coming down and let's have some fun!

So the shoot is in St. James Park? Or are we spilling out from there?

This will be an official event, waiting to get some info from joey and I'll create the event in the official event so folks can RSVP.

I'd be interested in this as well. I just have to check my availability.
