Hi All,

I would like to put together another lecture series this year. We have a limited amount of time, in which we can use the space at CAMH before the end of the summer. After September the space will no longer be available, as the next phase of redevelopement begins.

At the moment, I have a couple of photographers in mind. Our first presenter will be Michelle Quance who is going to talk about how to make money in a difficult business of photography. Michelle has been a wedding photographer for 15 years, with her years of experience, she will reveal her secrets for success. I will be posting this event soon, as I am just confirming a date with Michelle.

What a fantastic idea. While I'm sure all of the lectures will be interesting I'd love to see one on food photography. I find it's an underdeveloped topic amongst photography clubs and I'm always searching for new information.

Actually, the Beach Photo Club had an excellent photographer speak last year who shoots most of the Presiden't Choice food photography which appears on box covers, etc. And his presentation was really good! I could look into seeing if he would be interested in coming to speak to us.

I vote for that one...and would even play hooky from the camera club I "work" for to see it! Definitely worth paying for!

Since we are all with camera and snapping shots, can we have a videocam too?

looks like things have come to a bit of an end for the season, now that Summer is here.

But I would like to continue in the fall time with some weeknight lecture's. If you are interested in presenting a subject, let me know. The only thing I ask is that we stay away from Friday night's or weekend's, and the first/third thursday of the month is also out starting in September for me. Otherwise, weeknight's are open in the fall.

I am probably going to be looking to organize a couple of member night's, were member's of TPMG get a chance to present photo's to the group. I am also hoping to organize a special 35mm night - where TPMG member's can present slide's.
