I signed up for the one in Halifax, though I was wondering if anyone here has gone on one before and whether or not they felt it was worthwhile?

I went to the photowalk last year. In my opinion, it wasn't all that worthwhile - you meet new people, but everyone seemed as if though they didn't really want to talk. It was perhaps because everyone was in "competition mode" as a copy of Scott Kelby's LR2 book was being given away for the best pic.

I signed up for the one in the distillery district. Hopefully it will be a lot of fun! I would hate to go down there and have no one want to chat with me....

I signed up for the one in the Beaches. The jazz festival will be on then so there should be lots to shoot.

I did this last year - it was good enough that I signed up for it again this year. I'm doing the Beaches one this year - the Jazz festival is on so it should be an interesting photowalk.

I think the "not wanting to talk" observation is a Toronto thing.
