Post your incomplete or complete photo projects here! Could be anything from a 365 project to a collection of photos with the same theme!

Here's mine that I just started:

This project takes me to learn the pp skill - good one - of stitching of 8 of these images. I could only take two in 2007. It was a ceiling painting and I need 8 (of normal FoV instead of around 24mm) of the images to be stitched. I have steady hands but without tripod that takes some practice to do a good job.

Here is just two (taken at 24mm = 16mm with crop factor)

Well I need to make a special trip to finalise that as the building is located in Paris (The Louvre)

Good luck, when i was there 2 yrs ago i got yelled at by Louve staff for trying to take that exact same pic. Seems they don't like cameras.

It was so g d dark too as I was pondering for sometime if I should take that at iso 1600. I chose instead iso800 at 1/3s with no tripod.

I can't understand why the virtual tour of the Lourve does not include that painting. They make sure that you hurt your neck if you look at it for too long. If I do that again I should use my 28mm lens to take 8 images to cover the whole area. Planning a grid line so I can shoot at the right location is tricky too.

That could be a big bragging thing if I can print that out on a huge print on my living room wall on the assumption that I can make it. Well just on the drawing board.

These are photos with a rather obvious bit of photoshop work. Here's one, but the full series (and rather crucial explanation) is here: http://hollynorris.ca/privateresidence

Wow holly, what a great set. I like the story behind it too. School's like that never seem to listen & Peterborough is such a beautiful area.

i started doing a project called "our streets". it's basically me documenting the major streets of Toronto. anything from the streetscapes, buildings and building details, interesting facades, etc.

i've done a couple so far but put it on hold over the winter time.

so far i've done yonge, bay, front and i'll be uploading king this whole week.

Thanks! They really don't listen.. it's a shame how underfunded universities and colleges are.. they really shouldn't have to turn to the private sector for funding.

After 2 yrs I think the iso performance of most dslr has improved a lot indeed. But with FF and the height at around 20 ft high, there is quite a bit of distortion ( with fisheye or rectliniear lenses) for a long chamber. Still doing the grid line is the only option. No clue why the Lourve does not have a full blown image to sell.
In canvas would be perfect
