Ford is the best thing that could have happened to Toronto. His election leaves no choice but for the real political left who actually give a damn to be forced into active politics and activism, replacing this bourgeois hedonist/crackpot mix who present themselves as the political left in Toronto... An obese gasbag with a hockey jersey is the perfect poster boy for a rightwing nutcase and Ford is playing the part perfectly.

Wow. That Giorgio Mammoliti is quite the character. I googled him and it appears he wanted to turn the toronto islands into a red light district? Oh, and wanting to charge cyclists $20-$30 to use the bike paths in an effort to offset the cost of making bike paths.
