Back in University I had a prof that forbid us to use the Sun as a source, think it was an automatic fail if somebody referenced something from the Sun.

With very very good reason. Newspapers at best aren't credible resources and the Sun is nowhere near at best.

I would not be at all surprised that this fellow was sitting at a perfectly safe spot to take photos from until some paranoid fool called the public babysitters who insisted on making some sort of fatuous point. In fact this most likely what happened, and yet, we've pretty much decided this guy was a nut. I'm not saying people don't do stupid things and put themselves into stupid situations, but I certainly don't buy every word the Sun or the cops are selling.

That said, anyone know some good spots for unique traffic light trails? :D

Just East of York exit on Gardiner Westbound, always wanted to shoot skyline there at sunset

I hear there's a spot ON the Gardiner, just east of Spadina Ave....but you have to be quick before Officer Friendly and Officer O'Bese nab ya. :wink:
