Why? Your work (IMHO) is very good. You concentrate on the art, the craft, the process. You don't worry about the equipment. Let others obsess about the gear, the toys. Doesn't matter how good the gear is if you don't understand composition, lighting ect.

Homemade ringlight with UV LED's for blacklight macros. I wanted to try something different then anything else I'd seen... I also made one with bright white LED's.

This pic has an 18-55IS lens macro coupled in reverse to the end of my 55-250IS. Makes for some awesome glowy macros.
