I still have LR 3.5 and will upgrade to LR 4.4 when I build a new PC.
With LR 3.5 it saves every catalog backup each time I back it up . This can add up if you backup daily and if each backed up catalog is several GBs large. So I have to delete old backups periodically.
Does LR 4.4 still do this or does it give you the option to keep the last 2 backups?

Lightroom 4.4 still keeps all backups. I just delete them every once in a while. 4.4 is so much nicer to use than version 3.
You can down load a trial version to test first. The first version of 4.0 seemed a little sluggish but the latest 4.4 runs quick and smooth on my system.

Thanks Tim. i was just curious if they made that upograde. Seems an easy feature to upgrade.
Oh I'ma gonna buy it...just so I don't have to convert my 5DIII files in to DNGs.
I'm just waiting until I build a new PC. Which may be when LR 5.0 comes up if I keep dragging my feet.
