Hello everyone!

Could you guys please hlep suggest a few cool looking locations for automobile photography? i recently purchased a Audi S4 and i'm looking to get some cool photos of it. also planning on building a car rig for that as well so if anyone have experience please share it.

Photos of the location would be very welcomed.

Cheers.

Congrats on the S4. Nice peppy car. Watch out for fuse issues in the future.

The financial district is always good. Park in front of shiny lit glass towers at night/dusk and shoot away. Gives the cars a nice uptown-urban look. Commerce Court, Bank towers work pretty well.

Polson Pier? Top deck of the Kensington Market parking garage (with sign in background)? Underneath the Gardiner east of Bathurst? um... What look do you want?

For someone in Markham, that's a perfect area for car shoots! They have really good buildings with empty parking lots. If i recall the Woodbine and 404, the business area there has some nice rooftop level parking and good lighting.

and lovely security guards.

Depends what kind of setting you want. Wherever you can park the car basically, but looking for buildings or surroundings that make things interesting but not distracting.

SteHo's stuff is great if you want ideas and inspiration: http://www.shutterlit.com/

I like the Ryerson parking lot downtown. It's $6 flat rate after 6pm and the lot is usually empty on the top floor later in the night. Some pics with my LX3... the colour is a bit yellow in that first pic :P

You could try the the rural roads between Halton Hill and Guelph. There are some really nice landscape and driveway you could utilize. I did a car shooting for a friend back a year ago during autumn and the results were amazing.

Not quite, but I know a few hardcore dub guys who have done some interesting projects. One guy swapped a 4motion system into a Mk4 GTI. Completely stock on the outside, like mine. I am very particular about handling.
