Toronto Photography Meetup Group

So I just entered second year at Humber College for Photography and as part of my Portrait course we are required to shadow a Wedding photographer. I was wondering what the best way of finding different wedding photographers is? phonebook? here? google?

Basically I am required to assist (which is better for both of us in my opinion) or watch from the sidelines for a few hours/a day and then I am to write an essay about the experience. I am fully trained and quite capable in handling an assisting job as I have been with a commercial photographer for the past 3 years and I have also shot two weddings by myself already, however I have never actually assisted a wedding photographer and I have no idea where to look. If anyone here can help me that would be great and if any photographer here needs a hand for free let me know as I need this done in the next month and the season is coming to an end after all.

Thanks a lot I will send him an email and try to meet with him. I didn't want to pressure anyone on the group to help me out but I felt it would be a great place to ask seeing as many users are full time photographers and there are lots of wedding shooters (I just did not know who...)
