no doubt he's on DPREVIEW forums complaining about how the Leica sensor/metering system is inferior to his Nikon's because it takes photos that are severely underexposed.

Well what about the people he is photographing that don't notice that the cap is still on. I will bite my tongue on that one.

Is the M6 a film or digital camera?
If it is film I could probably see myself firing off a whole roll not knowing the cap was still on.
But if it is digital I am sure I would have loked at the LCD at some point.

He's wearing a Ducks sweater. The expectation of any intelligence should have long been discarded.

The people were not posing for him. He was just off to the side snapping away.

i don't know anything about the construction of film cameras or leicas, but wouldn't there be a meter inside the viewfinder?

Us real film photographers don't need no stinky meters!

Unfortunately we have many more ways of ruining a shot besides leaving the lens caps on.

Which is probably why he was fiddling with it so much, "dang, still not properly exposed!"

That was awesome! I can just see him driving off in a luxury car with the parking break on and forgetting to cancel his indicator.
