I was just wondering if anyone's been to the NEW Henry's Outlet Centre yet, what they thought of it.

I haven't had the time during the week, and I don't want to go on a weekend.

Considerably bigger, interior design matches other stores, but the stock is strictly outlet. Of course they can order whatever in too.

ok, now I can change my status ..... I've been there. Dropped in on the way to Long Point -- they are around the corner from the guys who make Jobu products.

just like the old store - only much larger and cleaner. lots of stuff similar to what they were selling at the Henrys show. they did have some new stuff, but not much. Most of it is the same old used and open box items. Film stuff -- Paul is still there! Michael is not - he is working out of the main store photographing web content.

So really other than putting it in a larger location, having a little more stock, and cleaning up the image - its pretty much the same. They did apparently buy out the local camera shop that was across the street, and the guy is working for them now until he retires next year or something like that. So it was a win win situation for him, rather than Henry's moving in and squaching his business.

I still need to find myself an old OM 50mm 1.4 or 1.8. I should go around some time after work, on the way home.

Just not as easy to get to. I was at the one downtown every few months...still haven't been to the new one yet; too far out of the way.
