Wow! Bit steep.

I do like the curves in Canon DPP, wish it was bit more sophisticated, especially things like highlight/shadow controls.

Hope they will release a stripped down version of the software, mainly focused on RAW processing, I personally don't care for studio operations or customer/employee database modules etc .

Canon knows their sensor/firmware and can deliver better tools compared to third party like Apple or Adobe who has to reverse engineer, plus have to deal with other camera vendors
