My friend and I created a joint account at Model Mayhem and got rejected because we were a group, not an individual. The moderator encouraged us to create separate accounts and reapply.

We wish to use the account name that was rejected for one of our accounts, but I can't find a way to get "reapproved". Does anyone know if we need to delete and recreate the account, and if we do, do we get that name back?

Taking a MM moderator's stand point, if they let you use the same account name, how will they know that the two of you won't use the account together?

You should be able to send a moderator a message and I think there's a forum thread where you can leave your concerns.

I was rejected on my first application for not having enough photos, but succeeded later with a message to a moderator (and more photos).

Thanks Eric. I had found some "Help" form that I could submit to, and I did, but that was 2 weeks ago and I've had no response from anyone. Well, who's to say that I'm not going to create a new account and share that anyways? lol. I just want the username back.

Hummm, good point. 2 Weeks is a long time. I know they're not the fastest in responding but 2wks is a stretch. Send 'em another.

Wendy don't sweat it apply under a different name or a slight variation and then change it back later. It's probably a glitch in MM software when they rejected your first application the original name is still in the system so it won't allow you to pick a name that is already used.

yeah, they can be slow in getting back to you sometimes but dont sweat it. You can change your name later or just wait a bit longer to hear back.
