I've seen the redwoods a few times... absolutely amazing stuff.

Looks like they could print this up lifesized and mount it in a museum somewhere.

When I saw the title, I thought "a 150ft bungee cord and 10fps or a Sony HX1 with the sweeping pano feature".

That is pretty neat. I've been to see the redwoods myself and they are majestic. There's a calmness and an aura that you can't convey - almost mystical.

they are selling six foot archival posters of the photo for $200 over at ngs online.
