I'm kinda hoping for a couple filter deals that other TPMGers seem to luck into. May be interesting to go just to see. Anyone up for the trip?

Found out the next show while at the trunk show, so I thought I'd post it now:

Sunday Sept. 9 at the Don Valley hotel on 1250 Eglinton E at Wynford at 10am-3pm $7.00.

For table rental info call Gary Perry 905-550-7477 or email gvperry@gmail.com

Now I can forget until September.

Now that it's September it's time to remember this!

I got out of there with money in my pocket, however, in my other pocket were a hard to find lens, 2 impossible to find caps, an impossible to find slip on filter ring, etc...! I also bought a 4x5 developing tank that will probably make my dreams come true....as a nice flower pot. :)

This was my first camera show (aside from Henry's Exposure show). Was this one typical in size? I didn't actually make a purchase (mostly because of my lack of knowledge in film equipment), but was tempted by a few things.

It's usually a bit larger in both the number of sellers and buyers. I think there was at least a 1/2 row of sellers missing.

I liked it because it had the stuff I was looking for, which is always a crap shoot anyway. There was a lot of good stuff for sale and there were some eager sellers...

I wasn't surprised it was smaller given it was the one after a Woodbridge show.

Feel free to ask film questions...many in this forum have done the full gambit. Myself, still have a lot to learn, however, 35mm, medium format, 4x5 field, 4x5, home developed..and I hope I'm stopping there.

I've stickied this as it's one of the more popular threads. Hopefully this provides easier access. :)

If you want to go to a bigger show look for "The Big One" in May and October.

Oh well next time.

Well judging from the parking situation, I'd say the show was very well attended ;) Good crowd inside as well and the usual tables were there. Looked like there were some decent deals to be had and heard more than enough bargaining going on.

It was definitely better attended than the November one, but in terms of tables, I think there were only a couple more. (Plenty of parking underground BTW)
Picked up a few trinkets, some film, and an old folder camera, but there was a lot of my list that I didn't see. (I don't think I saw a single Rolleicord, just a couple of tired Rolleiflexes.)

Not much for me this time. Maybe I just have too many goodies. Can't wait until "The Big One" end of May.

I saw someone buy a Rolleicord for $150. Not much for me this time either. Probably because I didn't buy any film. Walked away with some cool Leica collectibles.
