Hi guys,

I'm the founder of Town 30, and we've developed a patent pending camera bag here in Toronto. We are now live on Kickstarter trying to get funding to start production.

It's actually been quite difficult to get local media and bloggers to respond to us. Would anyone here in TPMG know of any bloggers/ media outlets to help us spread the word?

This is the link to our campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/town30/emissary-camera-bag-unlock-mount-shoot-everyday

If you guys can give us some guidance on how to reach out to media in Toronto we'd be so grateful. Even if you can help us to send the link to a friend who might be interested we'd be so happy!

We'd love to hear feedbacks/ suggestions from everyone here of course. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!

Thank you so much everyone!
Hin

solid effort, i'll be watching you (and sharing the link  )

the geekiness of the spacestation-plumber-box "patents pending" may be a turn-off or a great USP, time will tell. if things move slow, you can always fall back on the burzin core design, quite elegant that. hope it's light light light in weight... did i say it better be light? well, i think you should make it light... 8)

fingers crossed, all the best!

Looks like an interesting bag. A bit too pricey for me but I'm cheap :)

I don't want to sound super negative but having worked in media/pr, It's going to be very challenging to get any coverage for this in Canada. Traditional local media won't really care about your product since their audience isn't your target audience. You might have some traction with local bloggers but most of these guys are pay to play so you're looking at buying exposure, it's not cheap.

I would think about trying to get some coverage from international blogs/enthusiast sites that would have a larger audience that may be interested in your product.

Features are awesome, but because it's so bulky and rectangular, I'm out

yea i think it look a bit bulky as well,
with the mirrorless getting more popular these day maybe best to have a miniature/slim verson,
other then that i really love the lens cap holder, so i wont lose my cap anymore.
