Can you get multiple flashes from a SB-700 to go with burst shooting mode?
I have a Nikon D5100 and I want to shoot some action shots in burst mode using also the flash.

Can it be done?

I know I can just try it, but I would prefer to go for sure when I decide.

As long as the flash has a chance to recycle then it should be able to keep up. Recycle time will depend a lot on your battery type and charge, but I wouldn't expect it to keep up with the full4 fps of the 5100 at anything higher than 1/64 or maybe 1/32 power, which may or may not be enough depending on your ISO, f-stop, distance to subject, and ambient light level. Even then, it can probably only keep up for a second or two before missing frames.

It would be only fill light during the day, if it's sunny outside.
I guess I will have to try, but if I get 4 flashes for one second should be good enough.
