Hi all,

I'm travelling to Italy this summer and I'd like to trade in my Manfrotto XPROB with a 3-way pan/tilt head for something more functional and compact.

I've heard that the 3LT Brian X1.1 is a great tripod for travellers. Does anyone have any thoughts?
One of the things I like about the tripod is that it folds up which makes it easier for me to toss in my Lowepro. My Manfrotto is a bit awkward because it's too big to fit in my backpack.
I also like that the Brian comes with a ball head.
