hey , im thinking of getting two alien bee sb800 OR two Elinchrom D-Lite RX 4, any thoughts ?

I like the d-lites. I've got a set of them plus a set of BXRi's and they are both really awesome. Only issue is light modifiers being very expensive. There aren't as many cheap options for softboxes, snoots, etc.

The modifiers are the only drawback but with the newer versions coming with built in receivers you wont have to buy said receivers anymore for the newer models.

Elinchrom's build quality is better. Even the dlites.
If you buy Elinchrom modifiers, they are pricy. But there are several eBay softboxes beauty dishes that can fit any strobe. Check out Toronto's own Studio98 on eBay.
