Anyone got any experience with a Epson V600 flatbed for scanning negs and slides to archive?

Had the Epson V500 before. V600 is very similar. Scanning takes awhile since the film holder can only take 12 negs/4 slides/2 medium format.

Upgraded to Epson V700 and I am very happy with the decision. Scanning takes half the time now!

V600 here. S'ok. The V700 wouldn't fix the issues I have with it. Both are great if you have the right expectations for them.

If for 35mm I find the v600 less than satisfactory. I recommend an inexpensive dedicated scanner such as a plustek 8200

Here is a non sharpened high resolution of a 1979 Kodachrome slide done with my plustek 7400.
